Operating Hours
Our general operating hours are:
09:00 – 16:00, 7 Days A Week
These hours apply to scheduled campervan and equipment collections and returns.
If you are planning to visit us without a booking or appointment, please contact us in advance to ensure we are available to meet you.

Our location provides convenient access to Edinburgh, the Scottish Borders, the Highlands and wider Scotland road network.
Parking Information
We have space onsite for customers collecting outdoor equipment to park, load vehicles and organise gear before setting off on their trip.
Customers collecting a campervan are also welcome to leave their own vehicle with us during their trip if required.
Vehicles are left entirely at the owner’s risk.
Airport & Public Transport Access
Scotlander is accessible from Edinburgh by public transport, with regular bus services operating 7 days a week from Edinburgh city centre and surrounding areas.
Edinburgh Airport is located approximately 20 minutes away by car depending on traffic conditions.
You can also travel directly to us by bus from Edinburgh city centre.

Campervan & Equipment Collections
For every campervan collection you will be met by us onsite. We will double check your details and driver insurance cover before giving you a full walk around of the vehicle, explaining the controls, equipment and answering any questions before departure.
For outdoor equipment hire, we will have your equipment prepared for collection and can demonstrate setup or use before you leave if required. Additional equipment can also usually be added or removed on the day of collection.
Campervan & Equipment Returns
Campervans and equipment should be returned during our normal operating hours unless otherwise arranged in advance.
We ask that campervans are returned with a similar amount of fuel as they were supplied with and that all vehicles and equipment are returned in a similar condition to collection.
Any defects, damage or accidents should be reported on return.
